Lou Gehrig was forced to retire from baseball upon being diagnosed with ALS, and announced it to the world in a famous speech at Yankee Stadium. This speech, where he calls himself "the Luckiest Man on the face of the earth", makes up this image of that fateful day. A portion of proceeds from all sales will benefit the Lou Gehrig Society. Through June, we're giving an additional portion of proceeds to Project Main Street, who provides financial assistance to families battling ALS. Finally, a portion of proceeds from ALL baseball pieces will be going to various chapters of the ALS Association through the end of May!
